Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy reading the stories behind my work as a photographer. Of course, you’ll get a little bit of my life on this blog as well, which is something I make a priority with the clients I work with. I know that they let me into the moments in their lives which is why I invite you in to mine here. So subscribe to my blog or visit regular and hope to hear from – don’t be shy and leave some comments.
I have a fine art background and that influences my style, which is also documentary in nature. I work to bring out your personality in the photos and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I ground my work in simplicity, color, and a love for life and work to create images that speak to the people in them. Now in my third year of business I photograph an average of 25 weddings a year allowing me to work individually with clients throughout their wedding planning. I take on a number of portrait sessions as well and frequently photograph for families more than once, allowing me to provide a visual history as their family grows.
Located close to Letchworth State Park in western New York, I work most often in the Rochester, Buffalo, Erie, and Finger Lakes areas while also traveling throughout New York and surrounding states. Michigan and Virginia are the two other states that I photograph most frequently in, and would be happy to talk to you about travel there or to other locations.
Outside of photography I love to run, coach (xc + track), compete, cook and go on adventures with my husband and mini dachshund. On weekends when I’m not photographing a wedding I’m probably visiting with family and friends or competing in triathlons and road races.
I absolutely love what I do and can’t wait to hear from and work with you!
