Laura is the last of my college friends to get married. This is probably unusual for most people, but we’ve all been blessed with amazing husbands, and Laura is no exception. She and Travis actually met in high school and even went to prom together – but it wasn’t until after college that they reconnected and started dating. So that’s the basics of Laura and Travis, but really there’s so much more… and I don’t even know where to begin to describe their wedding. It took place at a bed and breakfast, and it was wonderful to have all of the friends stay there so we could spend more time together. Even though the forecast called for rain after many prayers the day was beautiful and sunny and the wedding took place outside as planned. It was perfect and although I didn’t photograph the wedding, I did take a few shots of some of the details so you can see the work and personal touches they added.

The place cards were strung with little clothespins through an old door frame, and there was a personal note on the back of each one! Wedding photos from their family were hung in a tree outside the tent for the reception, and there were lots of custom wooden signs directing people too the bed and breakfast and events around the site. Laura + Travis, your hard work paid off and more importantly, we are all so excited for you both!
