I love this lollipop. I brought it to Megan + Tommy’s wedding for something fun and think it worked perfectly. I can’t believe it’s been almost a week since their wedding already, since the days have been flying by. We moved up to New York on Tuesday and of course had a lot of last minute packing to finish before then. I’m not sure how other people pack, but it seems like it always takes forever. Getting to the point of having empty rooms means putting a lot of random things in boxes. Then, you start to unpack and ask “why is there a sock in with the coffeemaker?” or something like that. Anyways we’ve been settling in well and it has been great to catch up with so many people. I really can’t wait to go up tomorrow to Canada for Laura + Travis’s wedding this weekend. It will be a long awaited reunion with my best college friends and I’m excited to be a guest. I’ll try to get some fun pictures to share with everyone.
So, I have to ask if anyone else has heard of a house party, because I’m a part of it for Laura’s wedding. It’s a Texas thing, and I think that is a good enough explanation, but basically it’s an extension of the bridal party. So, any Texans or non Texans familiar with this? Either way I’m excited to attend and be a part of the big day and can’t believe it’s already here.
Next weekend we’re off to another wedding, for one of Matt’s best friends in the Minneapolis area. It’s my first trip to the area so I need suggestions on the must see spots in the area! It’s kind of like vacation but not exactly since we aren’t staying that long. Other summer adventures we have in mind include trips to Michigan, camping, a visit to the Adirondacks, and getting a canoe! Well this is just the beginning and there are a lot of fabulous weddings and photo sessions added in there as well. We’re excited to get settled again in New York again and thanks for all of your support during the move.
