…there was an article on David and Dawn and their wedding! You can read it online as well here. I’m super excited for them and of course it was fun to wake up today, get the paper from the yard and see a photo I had taken in it. How did this happen? Soon after their wedding I was emailed since someone saw their first photo up online – I’m not sure if it was flickr or what, but they asked to get in contact with Dawn and David and it worked out to interview them and put a story in. I know getting published is something everyone dreams of (right?) and I have made it one of my goals this year to submit more to make it easier to have some of my work more visible and the stories of the amazing people I photograph. If you have any tips (or want to hook me up) let me know, otherwise I hope to bring you more of these stories soon. Also, hold your horses because tommorrow David + Dawn’s photos will be all finished + up online for viewing!

Congrats & good for you! Definitely a milestone- here’s to hopefully many more:) Is that your table cloth you’re using for the backdrop? It looks familiar!
That is terrific, Mary! I looked at the article and it was cool to see your name below the photo.
Way to go Mary! They look great. Also, I am loving the fabric in the background of these pics–just had to say!
make sure that article/photo gets archived into the scrapbook box for later craft days!
