happy valentines day

love. it’s wonderful to celebrate. If there’s any holiday to be creative and crafty, I think valentines day would win. It’s all about the time and thought put in to the day which is why I followed the recipe from Design Sponge to create what you see above. It was a little more difficult than advertised, but in the end it came together and I love it. It’s surprising what a simple craft or valentine can do. I hope you had a great day and spent it with people you love.

Sarah Westervin - Oh how adorable! Valentine’s Day gifts are so much more wonderful and meaningful when they’re handmade. I’m not sure what I enjoy more, though — making or receiving them :)

Anyway, I saw that you entered the giveaway on Paper N Stitch. We’re also giving away an Intersect print on the Westervin blog, and I thought you might like to enter!

Just leave a comment on this post: http://www.westervin.com/blog/2010/02/15/giveaway-intersect/

I hope it goes to a good home :)

some time next week » Mary Dougherty Photography l New York Based Wedding Photographer - [...] you boil it down, I am the one who would spend hours bending a wire into the shape of a heart and placing it like the filament in a lightbulb, so I don’t mind if Matt wants to sit out for those projects.
