a poetic layer of ice

ice is so beautiful. we didn’t get that much today, but enough to encase everything in a small layer. If I could write poems I think I would write something to go along with these photos. Maybe I’ll try, but I don’t think I’ll have the confidence to share them!

Nita - Something very similar happened when I was in school at Geneseo. These awesome bright red berries preserved in ice. So awesome!

sarbob - very cool! here is my ice haiku: “frozen crisp and cold/the earth sleeps down deep below/but here ice sparkles bright”……
well that is what came to me in about 5 minutes. Maybe I broke the “ice” (Hahahah!) for more poetry sharing! (sorry for the bad joke but i couldn’t help myself!)
