Who knew we would bring the snow with us from New York to Virginia? … and how long before we are kicked out of the state because of it? Even though this isn’t near the record falls you had growing up, it certainly crippled the state this weekend and made it difficult to get around – which is why I don’t know what I’d do without you! Your Adirondack winter driving skills sure came in handy especially since Virginia doesn’t know how to plow the roads. Even though I’m an experienced snow driver, I would have had a difficult time getting around this weekend… and it’s just more fun when we’re together. Thanks for coming on this extra trip with me and taking care of our dog and sneaking her into the hotel. I’m not sure what we would have done if she was caught, but I’m glad we didn’t have to find out.
Our snowshoeing adventure yesterday was fun, and I like it a lot more than the first time you took me out. Sorry that I was so resistant at first – it’s hard to get used to, and you’re just so good at everything it doesn’t make it easy for a competitive person. I can’t say that I’m looking forward to the hours that we have in the car but I am excited about our Christmas adventures. Don’t try to figure out what your present is, you’ll never guess. I actually thought about getting you a dog for Christmas because that would be one of the best Christmas morning’s ever – but that was too difficult to arrange with the travel. That doesn’t mean we’ll get another one when we get home either…
You know better than anyone the work I put into my business, and thank you for supporting me all the way. Honestly I know I wouldn’t be successful without you, besides the fact that I also wouldn’t have health insurance. So here’s to being healthy and happy!
love, your wife
