Birds have been making their way into the themes and decor of weddings for a while now… but rarely do they appear in such a quaint and quintessential way as they do above. I came across the work of Ashley Anna Brown on flickr and fell in love with her creations. While I have yet to purchase one of my own, I’m waiting for the right occasion – too bad I’m already married! :] While you can find a multitude of similar handmade items on Etsy the sheer amount of items can be overwhelming… and I’m not sure that I’ve seen similar birds made with such detail and quality. If you want to spend some time, however, you can really find some fun things and ideas to incorporate into your day.
So, what would you do with these birds at your wedding? Place them by your guest book, put them on top of your cake, or add them to table arranged with wedding photos from your family. Then, take them home after the wedding and your little friends can be displayed in your home. There are sooo many blogs out there with wedding ideas as well – you could spend hours!
