:] do you love my bad jokes? I can’t believe I haven’t blogged these photos yet… I suppose it’s because of the moving situation, but I absolutely loved shooting Mike + Kaity’s engagement photos at Rock City Park just outside of Olean, NY. Not only was it a fabulous location – you can’t really tell from the entrance at all – but I’ve known Mike + Kaity for 4/5 years so I’ve gotten to know them well which makes taking their pictures even more fun.

Yep, it’s that good- who’s ready to go out there for round two?

Can you tell how much fun they are? Mike + Kaity were up for anything which was great because what photographer doesn’t love creative control? That doesn’t mean that every picture was perfect, no, out of the nearly 200 that I shot I cut that in half in the editing process and have selected just a few to show you today. Mike + Kaity will recieve a disk of all of the finished photos (nearly 100) which will give them more than enough options when choosing a photo to use on a thank you, guest book, etc… I do wonder about what happens to all of the pictures and if people do end up creating albums and hanging prints. Of course, that’s why I’m here to create albums for you + select images and arrangements to display on your walls since I know we have all put that off myself included!

Aren’t they naturals? I’m really looking forward to their wedding in February – it’s a bit of a wait but I’m sure it will be fabulous. Hopefully we’ll get some beautiful fresh snow too – I probably won’t be seeing much of that down here anymore!

There were some interesting pieces of machines down by the rocks as well.. don’t ask me where they came from but I loved incorporating them into the photos. Here’s something different to end with… I can hear some people describing it as more “artsy” :] and I would agree- feels like they’re floating off or dreaming, and I like that. Let me know what you think- comments, please! have a great day
