So I’ve been away from blogging for a while, but it’s for good reason. My exciting big news is that Matt and I are moving to Harrisonburg VA. We’re relocating for Matt’s job, and we are both excited for the new opportunities and sad to leave NY behind. So what does that mean for me? You probably know I’ve been working as a graphic designer this whole time as well, so that is something that I leaving behind and perhaps freelancing in the future. What it really means though is that I’ll be able to invest even more time into my business, so I am really looking forward to that. I love being a small business owner, with all the challenges and yet the ability to do something I love.
So does my relocation affect how I will do weddings in the future? Well, yes and no. I obviously won’t be next door to Letchworth but that doesn’t mean I won’t travel there! I’ll have to see how things shape up – next summer especially – with regards to travel, but would love to talk with you if you’re interested in bringing me out to your wedding – just email. In fact parts of western New York will remain one of the easier locations for me to go to – including Detroit MI as well – but I’m looking forward to getting connected in Virginia and the surrounding areas.
Well, you should expect more from me in the next few days – I may be absent a bit to pack (no looking forward to that) but have lots coming up and going on.
